1 Peter 1:3 tells us:
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation.
This Easter, may we grasp fully that because of this fact, Jesus is alive, this was witnessed by more that 500 people before his ascension, which was also witnessed by a great multitude. If Jesus were not alive, as these witnesses have proclaimed, then Jesus would be just as any other religious figure in history. He simply would be a great teacher, influential, charismatic individual that gathered a following.
He is not only alive, but the messiah, the savior, the KING of kings and LORD of lords. We can trust his words and the Word of God.
