How will we remember Spring 2020?
We will remember the Corona Vitus and authorities taking action by urging us to stay home and distance ourselves to combat its’ spread. We will remember how entertainers and church ministries alike posted programs online so that people could watch from home and creating various ways to make up for dates and events that were quickly canceled or postponed.
The threat is very real, but my first solution is to attack fear and doubt with the promises of God found in the Bible. For example, the promise I apply is: Psalms 91:2,3 - The LORD is my refuge and safety, I trust Him. He will rescue me from every trap and protect me from deadly disease. Please do not cut off your blessing by saying, “That may work for you, but it will never work for me!” And when the answer and blessing comes, be sure to give credit where credit is due. Let this book of promise open your eyes to the many ways God is able to move mountains make your path straight.
Suddenly, it seems we are all finding various ways to occupy this free time. As for me, I have started a basement remodeling project at my house in Ohio. While I clean, paint, sort and organize, I have replaced the tie and vest with old flannel and a ball cap. When this project is complete, I plan to have a nice work space for music and video production. Can y’all say, Facebook and YouTube Live? Hey, I can be creative too!
